Plot
This plot plays with your emotions, man. Even with the predictability and knowing how the story ends, I was still locked tf in from minute one. Fantastic pacing and script. Also, Brad Pitt might be a POS in real life, but that mf can act his ass off. Holy shit.
Cinematography
This whole movie is set in nature and it felt like watching a Nat Geo documentary. Absolutely stunning.
Sound
Sound was amazing. The native tribal score was brilliant and literally had me in tears throughout the entire movie.
My Take
This movie made me bawl my eyes out, man. I'm not a crier, but this had me sobbing as hard as when I lost my friend in real life. It moved me so emotionally that I might put it in my Top 10 of all time. Maybe that's just me, but the entire theater was crying and not a single word was said when the credits rolled. Shit, I might go see this again this week — it was that amazing.
